I think Shame will be there, they're supporting Foos on their tour, but not supporting over Glasto weekend. Hope BCNR will be there in some form, looks like they've rolled over all their festival appearances from before Isaac left.

Hi everyone always check these threads when Glastonbury is coming up and thought I’d finally make an account.

I notice Jungle weren’t on the poster… anyone got any news on them? They’re playing Bristol on the Saturday and thought that made them a dead cert

Yeah true enough. I guess also there may well have been a skewed impact of music purchasing during lockdown? Dunno …

I hope they get a bigger stage. WG is too hard when it’s totally rammed.

You know how every year the Oxford English Dictionary adds new words or meanings to their big book? Things like Covid was added recently.  Well I reckon they need to consider dab down and it’s interpretation  on here.   Currently it just means wiping a spill.

Orbital were due to play Silver Hayes in 2020 but aren't on the new poster, I don't think they were on the 2020 poster either though. I'd love to see them there this year.

Candi Staton is missing but shes touring the UK that week and available.....so hopefully it's more a case of no room on the poster than a definitive d*b d*wn

Looking at their tour dates, and given they were on the 2020 poster, I'm pretty confident we'll see Black Uhuru, Brittany Howard, Candi Staton, Goldfrapp, Groove Armada, Happy Mondays, Imelda May, Jehnny Beth, Soccer Mommy, and Tones and I there. 

And obviously Fatboy!

Anderson .Paak is the biggest loss for me, i'm sure he'll probably make it onto the final line-up but would of loved to have him announced today so I can comfortably start getting excited for him without risk of disappointment

The Mysterines were due to play 2020. I suspect they'll be there this year. Thought they may have made the initial  poster

Definitely expected the Manics on there... Still wouldn't be shocked to see them there though.

Random thought: were they left off because their name was too long? They already had Megan Thee Stallion, Nightmares on Wax and NGHFB around that part of the poster...

I spoke to them at a gig in Manchester just before Lockdown. Lia the lead singer said  "Yeah they were playing", but didnt say more than that.

I really like them. Album out next week

TBH,  I'd not heard much of them (apart from their name) until she mentioned it to me at a family thing that she came to last year....decent band.

Hello and welcome to joining in with the forum. If they are playing nearby and haven't sold out their tour that could actually be a factor in them not being announced as a lot of people could think I won't bother buying tickets I'll just catch them at the festival so they may well just be a later announcement.
