Who’s Playing What Day?

Obviously some people will stay for Elbow, but that Sam Fender crowd is gonna be absolutely rammed to the max and a proper ‘where you there?’ moment of the festival considering how big he’s gotten over the past couple of years. If you’re planning on going Diana to him I think it’d be wise of position yourself somewhere with a swift exit path to the Other field.

Yup, I have a feeling if album number 3 does as well as his 2nd, then he'll be back headlining in the build up/just after release of album 4.

I'll probably start moving from Diana to the other stage during the last song or two, especially if there's not a lot of time between the two.

Actually I just checked, there was an hour and 45 minutes between the end of Kylie and the start of Billie Eilish. Loads of time.

Man, looking back at the other stage Sunday if Prodigy were there Billie Eilish > Dave > Prodigy is nuts now.

At this rate I’ll be stood next to you the whole festival!

Its crazy, 2019 I saw 3 and a half acts on the Pyramid, my least ever (Kylie > Miley(half) > Vampire Weekend). This year it looks like I'm doing the top 4 (other than wondering off during Elbow) on each day, my most ever.

My partner is coming (resale permited) and it'll be her first time and they're in the same boat, gonna have to show as much of the other festival during Wednesday/Thursday as I can.

It's a tough one with Elbow (and I know that as a fan my view is somewhat clouded) but they are still a very big act. They play smaller venues now out of choice, they've said they'd rather do three or four nights at Apollo sized venues rather than one at an Arena.

Ask the average person on the street who is bigger between Elbow and Lorde and I'm certain Elbow would come out on top. Now the average person on the street doesn't make up the Glastonbury crowd and they certainly don't make up the members of this forum but I could easily see Elbow (friends of the festival klaxon) as sub.

Can definitely see Elbow higher up than Lorde

If I remember correctly Billie Eilish was only moved up there when The Prodigy dropped out.

I think it was supposed to be The Prodigy on Saturday, with Chems on Sunday subbed by Christine and the Queens. Not sure if Dave got booked after The Prodigy disappeared (he wasn’t on the first poster), or whether he just moved up a slot as well with Billie coming in below him.

So Chems / Christine / Dave with Billie Eilish on JP seems to have been the original plan.

Yeah sorry to burst @Matt42s Phoebe Bridgers bubble but Paolo fourth down pre-Haim makes a ton of sense if he’s booked.

Its a shame as I would of loved to have seen her. Maybe she's filling in a spot high up on The Other? I'm kinda giving up hopes of seeing her on the farm with how the line up is looking.

Seems a dumb clash with Macca and he’s not got any bigger since subbing Other in 2014, has he? 4th Pyramid (probably having replaced Aerosmith) seems more likely to me.

Tbh I feel like he could go literally anywhere. He could even be on JP tbh.

Pyramid: Paul McCartney // Noel Gallagher // HAIM // Phoebe Bridgers // Sigrid // Koffee // Damon Albarn doing some choir stuff

Other: Megan Thee Stallion // Burna Boy // Glass Animals

West Holts: Little Simz

John Peel: Paolo Nutini

Bunch of Other headliner suggestions getting shut down because they're too similar to Macca or some rubbish and then Nutini is the one that gets held up? Absolute bonkers.

To be fair I have absolutely no idea how big he is in 2022 outside of Scotland

He's headlining TRNSMT festival, I know he's big in Scotland and all but TRNSMT headliners tend to get pretty big slots at Glastonbury, Foals and Wolf Alice are subbing it and we're giving them pretty big slots. Paolo hasn't toured for a while too so might make him a bit more popular, would make sense that he's the Aerosmith replacement, and HAIM are 4th down.

We’ve already had word that Haim are on directly before Noel, so Paolo on before that is the only way that’s gonna pan out.

He was lowballed in 2014 so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s lowballed again eight years later. Difficult one to predict on the lineup. I think he was subbing / headlining most festivals he was playing when he subbed the other stage.
