Doesnt look as though its the case but here is a pointless theoretical guess… the rumours around roxy music not doing it seemed to come around the time it would have been known that robbie was doing isle of wight and therefore might be available

roxy out robbie in

its still possible the slot is not yet fully booked and confirmed at this point. They’ve got to be at least negotiating with RW unless they’ve nailed down something really decent already.

he’s available, touring this year at festivals and wants to do it. Just make it happen! And yes happily hold off announcing it till March or even May if strictly necessary

Can't see him doing a 4pm Glastonbury gig after the after a gig in Norway

Plus his exclusivity clauses seem pretty air tight

I still think it will be spice girls

It crossed my mind that he's playing these other festivals this summer to get himself back on the scene ahead of Glastonbury next year (or any future year). I'd love it, so many hits for an hour or so set

I have info on who's lined up for the slot that I can't divulge. Which I get is super annoying.

They haven't been mentioned on here thus far and would have huge crowd appeal whilst pissing off swathes of the festival old guard.

Posted previous page but possibly missed.

Ticket prices are getting daft.  I'm sure the Duran Duran tickets in Sept 2021 at Scarborough were only £40-odd.  To get the same sort of view on the current Arena tour would cost over double - close to £100.  That's not just inflation, it's profiteering.

Wouldn’t pay that in an Ordinary World…
