Posh Spice doesn't need the cash, so presumably she can only be tempted back for special occasions. By that rationale, the G could well tickle her fancy.

If they were going to reunite for the coronation, there would be no point in putting in the rehearsal hours necessary for just one show

(unless they dont put in much of a rehearsal and just phone it in and theyre never to be seen again) 

therefore a small tour, to include glastonbury and a few stadiums, would make sense.

also agree that its odd that theres no substantial rumours for the legend slot

it would also bring some much needed, er, girl power to the top line of the lineup.

if its not them, then i think its likely to end up being something thats not really at the level of what we’ve seen in recent years ie a 4th headliner. And it goes back to being something a bit cheesy that you couldnt really bill on the top line.

Yes.

He did it in 2009, and aside from that a previous appearance in the 90s is sometimes retconned into being considered part of the lineage - though really that was a couple years before most people believe the legends slot properly started.

Spice Girls would, I think, be the first act to play the legend slot that would have never have had a shot at playing the festival at their commercial peak. Nothing wrong with that, it's just interesting.

I heard late last year from a good source there were live dates coming but it was intimated that it wasn't a big world tour, so would fit with the Coronation idea.

Lizzo’s on the Saturday according to Neil’s info, but I’m hoping we’ve got Pulp pre-Elton instead to keep the party going. 

I can imagine somebody like Lil Nas X in that slot to keep up the sheer campiness of it all.
