The new Carlsberg Pilsner (reformulated a couple of years back) is actually quite tasty compared to the old one. I mean, it’s certainly no decent beer, but it’s better than a lot of the popular 4%ers. Shame it’ll never shake it’s stigma!

Tried at Latitude and it just wasn't happening, and was even worse at Leeds
Obiginnaw
£2.60 for a water is also shocking, never mind the beer prices

Simsy
I'm confused by We will add £1.00 to the cost of each drink for the Download Reusable cup. You can either keep your Download Reusable cup or return your cup at select refund points for a 50p refund. I assume it means "we will add £1 unless you are reusing a cup", but it sounds like "we will add £1 to every drink, and you can only get 50p back for each cup". I was just doing the same maths in me head. Wtf? £1 extra but only 50p back? So a 50p surcharge for needing a cup? I’ll have it served in my hands then! squirrelarmy
50p for each returned cup does have potential for funding your next days beer if you’re a tightarse. No doubt there will be plenty of discarded cups laying around towards the end of each day. Could get yourself a couple of pints worth. Although it won’t improve the taste of the beer. Sunshine forecast all weekend. Surely with reusable cup you pay a £1 when you first buy a drink, then it's no extra after that, you re-use it (or more likely they swap it for a clean one). If you want some money back on the cup when you're finished with it, they'll give you 50p.
