Export is actually ok in comparison to normal Carlsberg. Would be good if they add that to more bars at Glastonbury!

Wow I can only imagine how bad 0% Carlsberg tastes...

The new Carlsberg Pilsner (reformulated a couple of years back) is actually quite tasty compared to the old one. I mean, it’s certainly no decent beer, but it’s better than a lot of the popular 4%ers.

Shame it’ll never shake it’s stigma!

Honestly I still can't finish a pint, at least at festivals. Tried at Latitude and it just wasn't happening, and was even worse at Leeds

I don't know if its the selection of drinks on offer, the prices or the idea of a branded Barclaycard 'discount' but everything about that list just feels grim.

this is getting worse the more i read it, £8 for a pint if you don't have a reusable cup, tenner for a single vodka red bull, £3 for a can of pepsi...

I guess in Glasto as it's plastic free they don't charge extra for the cup right?

ahhh yeah good thinking, so that's one thing that's not gonna be around

honestly, £7 was my limit in most bars (slightly more in the likes of Avalon Inn/San Remo) but that's very steep , also hoping they have better variety on offer, even just a san miguel ffs

I'm confused by

We will add £1.00 to the cost of each drink for the Download Reusable cup. You can either keep your Download Reusable cup or return your cup at select refund points for a 50p refund.

I assume it means "we will add £1 unless you are reusing a cup", but it sounds like "we will add £1 to every drink, and you can only get 50p back for each cup".

Good to see shed head added, gives a tiny bit more choice than usual! They didn't have it at Liam Gallagher so potentially it won't be at all the big LN events this year.

I was just doing the same maths in me head. Wtf? £1 extra but only 50p back? So a 50p surcharge for needing a cup? I’ll have it served in my hands then!

50p for each returned cup does have potential for funding your next days beer if you’re a tightarse.

No doubt there will be plenty of discarded cups laying around towards the end of each day. Could get yourself a couple of pints worth.

Although it won’t improve the taste of the beer.

Horrible that. I'm really irritated by it.

Another reason never to go to Download. Not only do you have to listen to crap music while getting soaked you can only drink overpriced shite lager or cider

What a weird thing to say, you wouldn't go if you didn't like the music they have on offer. Sunshine forecast all weekend.

Surely with reusable cup you pay a £1 when you first buy a drink, then it's no extra after that, you re-use it (or more likely they swap it for a clean one). If you want some money back on the cup when you're finished with it, they'll give you 50p.
