Artist Merchandise

Bit curious to this one - i've never heard of anywhere selling it but every other festival sells it. Does Glastonbury have stalls where they sell merch or not really? My thinking was theres so many major acts it would be hard to fit it into one stall unless each of the major stages had a shop..

Never seen it for any of the main stages/acts, but I know that there is a table to the side of the stage in the Avalon tent where acts sometimes come to sign stuff and sell merch. I seem to think there's a stall at West Holts as well.

Isn't there a massive merch place stage left of the Pyramid?  Or has my brain confused it with somewhere else?

Was that all festival stuff though, rather than for the performers?

The merch stalls have certainly had performer stuff at times, usually for the stages in their vicinity.

The pyramid merchant stage is next to the Water Aid kiosk, left of the Pyramid as you look at it. 
It was selling artist merch when we bought our festival t shirts in 2019.

They did sell Stones T shirts and stuff in 2013.

Merch stall by the Other stage also has artist merch.

the merch stall in the pyramid field and the NME stage field usually sell stuff from at least the major acts on those stages.

can't say about anywhere else tho as i've never looked.

avalon often do merch and artist signing i think .... I know the hobos do it

On the subject of signing I went to see Sparks this week and they weren't signing due to the filthy covids - they have several things which said they have no insurance cover if that forces them to cancel the tour.

Lots of artists are doing this who normally meet fans a lot to try and keep their tour going, Glass Animals who i follow closely usually meet fans near enough every show but stopped this completely and managed to tour all of the second half of last year covid free (only just getting it now at the grammys)
