If you could pick just one Glasto headliner..

Looking at the top 50 of my most listened to artists since 2005, there are lots I'd like to see on El Pointo, but not many that could actually carry it off and put on a great show for the type/size of audience. I'd love to see Modest Mouse up there, and I think Nick Cave would be a great headliner but off my list by far and away the best headline show would be Oasis.

PULP are one of my all-time favourites and, though I saw them on the Park in 2011, I think I could stand to see them again as a Headliner if Candida's hands were up to it.

I like the Elton John shout - I probably wouldn't stump up to see him do his own show but I'd be there with bells on for a festival headline slot. I'll also second Kate Bush and Rage Against the Machine.

Talking Heads are obviously never going to reform and nobody even suggests that they might but *imagine* if they did for a big headlne slot. That's my pick for pure mindless hope.

Using this method I would pick Sufjan Stevens. Not sure the Pyramid would suit him though (although I've never seen him live so maybe it would!)

I still question how good an Oasis reunion would be and they are one of my favourite artists of all time

That's exactly my problem. Here are my top 15 artists (ignore 1 and 3 as these are just played to help my daughter sleep).

Apart from the Foos, Nick Cave and a resurrected Nirvana I can't see any of them carrying off a Pyramid headline slot. Maybe Wolf Alice in future.

x2 on Genesis (Banks, Collins, Gabriel, Rutherford, Hackett) - never going to happen anywhere now, let alone Glastonbury.

I saw Gabriel in 1994 when he was joined by Youssou N’Dour, which was pretty special.

Been pondering this for a while, and honestly, can't think of anybody. Prince was the only one, really. But there's nobody else of that kind of stadium size I'm interested in seeing. Tom Waits is the only sort of 'legend'/established figure I'd like to see that haven't. The likes of yer Fleetwood Macs, yer Oasises, yer Genesises, nah, absolutely not. In that league, not a single name comes to mind.
