Yard Act are not yet on the list but I guess they will play and more than one set

Yep they are one of the others that I thought of that haven't been announced yet but I could see in Williams Green, Leftfield and another stage.

The one I'm gutted I missed was the Small World Stage in 2004 - which used to often go later than the published times anyway, I found out after the event that Damien Rice turned up about 2am after playing the Other Stage earlier in the day, and then played through through to dawn alongside some of the then stage regulars.

was that the small open air stage that used to be by Gate C ? As probably around that time (2004 ish) I was heading back to my van at about 1AM and while passing there was a small crowd and someone that looked like Bill Bailey on stage, I waled over, and it was bill bailey 🙂 he played for ages - it was raining and I got utterly soaked, but loved every minute 🙂

No idea if it’s true but have heard from a friend that works at Warner that Muse might be doing one

Muse, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Paolo Nutini and Harry Styles. We’re going to end up with stronger secret sets than most festivals headliners.

Muse are in Denmark on the Friday and Spain on the Sunday, so might be tough fitting Glastonbury in the middle. If only Somto was still here to see this rumour.

From what my mate said it’s not confirmed but apparently being explored, so no idea if it will actually come to fruition. It would fit in with their recent pattern of playing smaller shows though, like Hammersmith Apollo and Exeter last night

No, you're referencing the Dance & Fire Stage.

Smaller venues because their popularly has waned a bit the last 2-3 years?

Yes I suspect they will do at least 3 or 4 sets over the weekend.

Probably not as many as last time. I think someone like Wet Leg will be this years Fontaines DC.

I think it will be one set and one set only from Wet Leg. They can only really do the Friday. And their probable early mid afternoon slot means they could maybe manage bbc introducing at a push or crows nest early on.

Yard Act on the other hand….

They've not played 3 days in a row since august 2016.

How do we know where these sets are

They’ll be listed on the full lineup as ‘Special Guest’ and then no doubt whoever’s filling those slots will become common knowledge on here in the day(s) leading up to the festival, and then you need to show up early to ensure you make it in to the tent and/or field.

Mate I'd dig it. Seen them a couple times. Theres no denying those first couple albums and who doesnt love a stadium anthem singalong too. They could pull off hell of a set.

There recent albums are underrated too. They've fallen into the U2 type rhythm of not whacking out classic albums everytime like only the rare breed can, but every album they bring out has two or three, sometimes more really top tunes that dropped into a live set wouldn't diminish the experience.

Love the early sound but Only by the night was classic and Come around sundown still my favourite album of theirs. Agree theres been a good handful of tracks on each album since. Still a great live band that can put on a career spanning show.

Exeter is where they are from, they commonly start their tour there apparently - it was a free ticket raffle based off past order postcodes for people nearby. Would be impressive

100% agree with this.  Their recent setlists are incredible -

I’m still pretty pissed with them though - my first time at Glastonbury this year and they only go and book their first appearance in Belfast in 8 years on Glastonbury Sunday.  That is easily gonna be my worst clash of the weekend.
