Since 08 the main changes for me have been

 

Fewer fires

Fewer people in stone circle, no candles

Fewer sound systems in markets

Fewer dealers in camp sites

 

The internet in many ways has meant people have a much better idea what they are going to encounter. Detailed maps, YouTube videos, areas videos and marketing etc means far fewer people are stumbling across things which takes away a lot of the wonder. People are also much more image and fashion conscious and look far less rough round the edges than they did.
