Although when he talks between songs I realise just how far I have to go in my understanding of the Spanish language. I can't understand a word he says!! sirjonnyp
There is a video out there of me, wearing a two-piece bikini being taught how to dance by a big ripped man in Glasto Latino and I for one am all for it.

I can't understand a word he says!! They're Cuban? He's just saying the usual: "we're glad to be here, this is our next song...." stuff If you're learning Spanish from Spain you're gonna have a very difficult time understanding anything from Latin America. It's the same as most languages which are spoken in many places around the world. I learned "proper" English when I was little but then most of what I heard in real life was American English. I still struggle a bit with English from Northern England/Scotland, specially young people obviously. I was in Andalucia last year and sometimes it sounded like a completely different language to me. And they are in Spain 😂

A lot of my team are in Barcelona so I ask a lot of questions when I come across more than 1 word for the same thing etc and they say the difference is sometimes Latin American vs Spanish ie Esposo vs Marido. I don't think I'll be having conversations anytime soon but would like to at least have some pigeon Spanish by the next time I have to go there.

At least the watching crowd was entertained
Acid Loafers
Didn't do any classes, but did pop around in 2019. Listened to a few tunes after some food, great vibes in there, even if it's not your thing. Do think, it's a must for anyone to pop in just see what it's all about. Probably a good place to go on Thursdays if you want to avoid the more crowded places.

barcelonista1899
I seem to remember Cimafunk was part of the Cuba episode in Huey Morgan's Latin adventure. Worth a watch if you're interested at all in Latin music.

Beerqueen
I went there in 2019 with my daughter and we had a laugh (I am not at all co-ordinated and my hips don't move like the people in the video). The new location is a much better fit than it - it was a bit weird being up by the Common before. I'd recommend it.
mcshed
Cimafunk seem quite high profile for Glasto Latino, be great to see them pop up on West Holts as well, they'd have gone down well at The Gully as well but alas that is no more. BluePaul
It's great - decent late night action and a very recommendable cocktail bar inside to boot!
oakdown
Never seen a headliner or done any of the classes, but did get an absolutely banging mojito here one year. The atmosphere inside the tent was pretty nice if I remember right.
Wanderlei
Me and the girl I was with at the time did a lesson once. We didn't last much long after that. I'm not sure whether it was linked to my dancing or not 🤔 ...probably intimidated by my prowess.
CaledonianGonzo
Ondatropica, Glasto Latino 2013, was possibly the most off the dial I've ever been at the G.
