I just planned to never go back til the day ended pretty much. Never a need to go change clothes and whatnot. I used the lock up for my passport and that was it. And youre talking about the lock up by the Tipi Field I presume. But like I said, I just got up early, went to the Guardian stall closest to Wv, got a ruck sack and went back up the hill to get ready for the day. When I camped normally the first time I went in 17 I was in Oxlyers and that lent itself to going by my tent more often because it was around where I would be at certain points of the day so its easier to manage. With Wv I just made sure I wasnt returning.
Google Pay ticketing issues highlight the frustration festivalgoers face when trying to save and access their tickets, and show the importance of reliable technology.
Last year, the 'Praise You' sign post was on 28th November with the full lineup dropping on 5th December.
Means we could be looking at the end of the week before we hear anything.
I don't think people in this thread understand how popular RAYE is at the minute. I know monthly listeners is an imperfect stat for comparison, but by monthly listeners, she's way more popular than acts like Jorja Smith, Stormzy, and Sam Fender. It's not even close when you compare her to acts like them, she's bigger by orders of magnitude.
She's actually currently even more popular than Lorde, Florence and the Machine, and Kings of Leon. That doesn't necessarily directly translate into festival draw, but the amount of radio play she gets is insane, she's had TikTok virality, and she swept the BRIT awards, breaking the record for most wins and nominations for an artist at the ceremony in a single year.
I'm pretty sure she's not a sign of the festival going smaller - she's a sign of the festival trying to stay current.
