@chazwwe For the record, I can tell you for a fact that Ddiamondd had no alt accounts. The person who has made 99% of recent alt accounts still posts freely from their main account and never seems to have been mentioned in the conversation of trolling/alts, so I’m not sure this trigger happy banhammer technique is as effective as it’s made out to be.

The users who have been banned recently for it aren’t even involved in the current trolling from alt accounts.

Just add a rule that new accounts can't post in the first seven days of account creation. Or maybe one or two posts a day or something. Might help I dunno.

This puts off new members unfortunately, a decent amount of the troll accounts are aged backups anyway it seems (Although these have ran out now i think)

One of my pals is in the know bc he works at pitchfork and he says that MIKA's management are frantically working to get him added to UK festival lineups this summer due to his Coachella set and his Eurovision set too.

Would be a good afternoon set on the pyramild imo, but he hasnt said what festivals have confirmed the late addition.

He's at the roundhouse the week after glasto so looks promising 🙂

On Sunday in 2007 I was having an absolutely soggy miserable comedown and watching MIKA honestly cheered me up no end.

Morning all. Don't want to drag thinks back up but thanks for the support this morning. This thread is coming to an end of its use anyway (thank god!) so there's no real need for updates anymore, but I'm glad it was of service to people (and actually should be noted I didn't start it, just carried it on...)

Anyway, I shall live on through the clashfinder prediction for a little bit. I'm in all the other normal places on the internet if anyone wants a chat, not too hard to find me - if you're clever...

I more meant for him to start getting bookings, I can't imagine there's much room for him on the line up after a lot of 2020 was rolled over. Even with the acts we have now and looking at what a clash finder would be, I'd struggle where to fit him. We're already having conversations of 'where the hell is x artist going to be'

Yeah thats true, although he may have been booked months/years ago and just not announced on the 2020. I don't think theres anyway he could slot in this late unless someone has pulled out recently.
