Bristol Temple Meads bus early hours of Monday

Hi,

I have to be in Bristol Airport for 6am on the Monday morning. I am planning to get the festival bus to Bristol Temple Meads at 4am, and then a bus from there to the airport.

My question is, does anyone know are there queues for buses at that time or is it easy to get on one? And are they generally OK traffic wise?

Any help is much appreciated.

It's very unlikely there'll be any queue to speak of.

Depending on your timings. the bigger potential risk for you is if the bus is massively under capacity, and they delay it for a bit to allow more passengers to turn up.

There is an airport shuttle bus that runs from Bristol Bus Station from 0215 and takes just 25 mins to get to the airport.  From 0452 it picks up from Temple Meads and catching this would get you to the airport for 0518.

I'm not sure how long the GF3 service takes to get from Festival to Temple Meads so catching it at 0400 might have some risk in in linking to the 0452 airport bus.  To be safe I think I would catch the 0300 service from the festival, which would get you to Temple Meads in good time, and also allow for any delay as per @incident's comment above.

For those services such as the GF3 to Temple Meads do you just turn up and pay?

I've never seen anything to specify how you'd book, or even which company they are.
