Iโ€™m pleased no one has mentioned Crowded House on this chat. If itโ€™s just the band playing and me dancing and singing along Iโ€™ll be happy ๐Ÿ˜‚

Canโ€™t wait for them, Iโ€™m a fan but not enough of a fan to part with the money to see them on tour!

I think they should have kept the Libertines a suprise opener like previous acts.

People would have committed to other stages and what not.

The amount of people who have an interest in the Libs at Glasto is far too high, too be pretty much unopposed in clashes at 11.30am , plenty will catch some of them and head over to Ziggy

I think Sigrid on JP is a bit crazy, I get that she fits well between Girl in Red and Pheobe Bridgers, but she's surely too big a name to put in a tent.

Agreed. She was on the other last time. Sticking her in the JPT this time is madness.ย

It wouldn't surprise me if PSB had a bigger crowd than Kenny.ย

Controversial but I agree. I like both but I can see by Sunday night-especially if the weathers bad-the Pets doing a proper greatest hits set being a huge draw against some world class but challenging and singalong lacking hip hop.

Erm, going by Halvin it would appear to be the Libs.... eek.

ha times like this im glad to be a fan of some of the more obscure or less `popular` acts on the lineup. Out of that entire top 20 I think only ones I may see will be libertines and maybe foals. Everything else im at some other stage watching some other act with hopefully a crowd with an easier chance of getting near the front.

I reckon Wet Leg thatโ€™s a fairly crazy score for The Park!ย

This. If 1/3rd of the punters are trying to get in The Park to see this it will be mental.

Over 25% planning to see each of Fontaines DC and Bonobo, and more people heading to Caribou and TLC than Noel Gallagher.. I think we can safely take these figures with a pinch of salt ! Still interesting though.ย

Yep I mean what people click on clashfinder doesnโ€™t mean theyโ€™ll watch it I currently have most of Friday ticked ๐Ÿคฃ but I do think this will be one of the big ones of the weekend as they are definitely having their moment.ย

Yup been saying this for a while and it probably rings a little more true now after Kendricks new album was less bangers, more chin strokers. Pet Shop Boys are gonna have a ginormous crowd.ย

Saw them last night in Glasgow and they were absolutely superb. Will be a perfect festival set for a sunny (yesitwillyesitwillyesitwill) afternoon.

Shall we use this thread to talk about which acts got particularly sizeable crowds?

Going to list the daytime acts and headliners on each stage that my group of friends thought potentially had the biggest crowd.

Pyramid:

Headliner - Paul McCartney, though honorable mention to Kendrick who started with half a field, and finished with the entire field packed out.

Daytime - Diana Ross, the crowds were spilling out of the main field. Sam Fender an honorable mention though.

Other:

Headliner - Foals, though nobody in my group of friends saw Pet Shop Boys, and Megan unfortunately had a noticeably small crowd.

Daytime - The Libertines, though it did start to thin out in the last half of the set. Honorable mention to Years & Years who definitely pulled a bigger crowd than Lorde on Pyramid. Olivia Rodrigo's wasn't as big as expected!

West Holts:

Headliner - Little Simz, Bicep's crowd wasn't as big as expected.

Daytime - TLC, no question. Not sure about any others that came close.

John Peel:

Headliner - Charli XCX, as expected. Honorable mention to Primal Scream who came close.

Daytime - George Ezra, the traffic between John Peel for him and Pyramid for Diana Ross was quite something. Honorable mentions to both Sigrid and Phoebe Bridgers on the Friday who packed the tent full, and Self Esteem on Saturday.

Park

Headliner - difficult to say between Four Tet and Jessie Ware, definitely wasn't Courtney Barnett.

Daytime - Wet Leg, I don't think anyone really came close.ย

ย

This is just based on discussions with the group I went with. Interested to know what others think! Especially for daytime acts on West Holts and Park.
