Ruth1980
Hi! We've been to the festival a fair few times but for the first time this year we're planning to pitch our tent on our friends' East campervan pitch and are wondering about the logistics of getting to them on the Wednesday as they'll have arrived on the Tuesday evening. Do we park up in general car parking and then head into the main site via pedestrian gate C (hopefully as that seems nearest) and then head out towards the campervan fields via the same gate or is there a separate entrance for the campervan fields? Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂
Mr Cake
aim for the blue and purple car parks and then walk directly into the campervan fields

So you don't need to get a wristband before going into the campervan fields?

Nope, as long as you park East side, then you can walk straight into the campervan fields and find your friends. Then head down to Gate C and get your wristband. Remember because you will be camping outside the fence you have to keep your ticket on you because you will need it to get in and out all weekend.

Thank you very much for your help. I hadn't appreciated that we'd be camping outside the fence! Does this mean that we could get to them before the gates officially open on the Wednesday? If they are there already, park up and pitch up and start the party early. Have a lie in on Wednesday morning till the Gate C queues die down, which will be about 10:00am and then go down and get wristbanded etc... carlosj
If you all have what3words or can share locations on maps, and they give you the field number, that makes it easy to find them. You'll also get a small paper "pass out" each time you exit the festival - keep that to hand back in on re-entry, along with showing tickets and wristbands.
