Trolleys, suitcases, backpacks

Hello

I have chronic pain in one knee which is exhaserbated by lifting. last glastonbury was on crutches, this one hopefully without!

we usually arrive by coach and camp close to the gates in darble. I really want to try and avoid the big backpack. I know everyone says suitcases are a big no (although tbh I've had some luck with them generally - though most of my glastonburies have been dry!)

Is a trolley I can put my wheely suitcase and tent on a reasonable idea?

Any other foolproof ways of not carrying on back

One day glastonbury will finally agree to give me a disabled pass and it will probably be easier and I won't fret quite so much.

please let me know your genuis hacks, troleys to avoid/buy, ways of managing. I don't need loads of beer, just me tent and bag

Thanks

I've taken a rucksack and then tied a suitcase to a trolley in the past for the extra stuff, if i was taking a suitcase, id definitely transport it on a trolley and not on the suitcase wheels, even in dry conditions i wouldn't expect the wheels to cope very well with the terrain

Yes, we've all seen the sad sight of abandoned suitcases by the path at some point, once mud is in the wheels they don't turn then they're awful things to drag.

I've always taken a suitcase/trolley thing and a small backpack - similar to this one. I've never had any issues with the wheels (even in 2016 weather) but the bottom of the suitcase does get a bit ruined. I didn't have a trolley in those years though so it's probably safer to put everything on a heavy duty trolley!
