How hot was it officially on the Wednesday last year (which I’m my opinion was too hot but I know that’s subject to debate)

I think this is looking perfect so far, starting to pack today and wellies may not be coming out of the loft

Thankfully the highs are looking far more manageable this year and holding firm around 21-23, Sunday aside of course.

Not quite at 2010 levels which is good to see.

Hope it’ll all be good for you as everyone else 🙂 thanks to all as ever this thread has hits some highs and some lows but we unite on the fields in just a few days . Have a great festival everyone and hopefully see everyone at the unofficial efest meet at the ridge and furrow where wet stuff is guaranteed

God yes.  My niece constructed a makeshift bivouac from her rain poncho to achieve a small area of shade.

Great news! Keeping everything crossed and have dug out my UV umbrella from 2019. Anyone tried a “magic cooling towel”? I’ve sent for a couple from Amazon on a friend’s recommendation. Some kind of E-cloth with magical evaporation qualities that you soak with cold water and they stay cold. My daughter is a long distance runner so sounds useful.

Yeah they’re good! In 2019 I was wearing it under a cap
