2019
Raining in west London. Please accept my apologies for my lapse in faith. Go Outdoors this morning 9am, click and collect.
CaledonianGonzo
And we miss the purple - which I assume is the really nasty stuff.
squirrelarmy
It’s fine, we knew this was coming a week ago. This just confirms the accuracy of the longer range weather models which gives me lots of confidence that the rest of the week will be perfect conditions. 1

briddj
Well, the overnight rain will have done its stuff now, and we await reports from the site. Looking at the rain radar, it doesn't appear to have been too bad at all, and the rain is just about to clear. Get that drying started! Onto the 00Z. TUESDAY Dry all day other than the odd shower. Excellent drying temps of 20-21. WEDNESDAY Dry when gates open with temps of 19. Still showing the possibility of some very, very, very light showers in the PM - but nothing of note whatsoever. Highs of 21. Overnight temps into Thursday: 13 THURSDAY Completely dry, highs of 22-23. Even less rain close by than in the last run! Overnight temps into Friday: 12-14 FRIDAY Completely dry, highs of 19-21. Overnight temps into Saturday: 15-16 SATURDAY Completely dry, highs of 25. Overnight temps into Sunday: 15-17 SUNDAY Completely dry, highs of 24-26. Important: We are still a fair way from confidence for Sunday this far out and rain has moved closer. We need to watch this. Temps through Elton are still up at 19-21. Overnight temps into Monday: 13-14 SUMMARY! Another excellent run with only a small concern over the position of the low on Sunday evening, which is stronger here. The rain still isn't close, and you could generally call this an upgrade as it brings the temps back down for Elton, and removes the uncomfortable overnight sleep into Monday. Almost there!

MEGATRONICMEATWAGON
Bloomin' marvellous. If those weekend highs held between 24-25, it'd be amazing. Looks like everyone will be enjoying a dust free and low pollen count this morning 😉 I'm 80-20 on leaving my walking boots at home now. Only got a couple of hours to decide tho... gordong
Been awake since 3:30am with the rain. Steady showers all morning. If site was open already, it would be muddy but I think we will escape the site getting “churned up” Photos from Ped Gate B show the worst of it I could find.

If thats the worst and it has 24 hours to dry up with very little walking around. Then I think we're good and the system has worked out as predicated.
