Not dropping off enough if the latest GFS is to be believed, even Monday is still 30c for us, 😞 and I wouldn't hold out too much hope for a lot of rain until evening on Monday... Still going to be a sticky work day I think. (Well, for most of you, it's our first day off Monday, we've had to work right through the worst of it, so it kind of seems fair. 😛) 

Although there 'could' be a few scattered showers in the day / afternoon on Monday, if you're in a lucky location, I just hope it doesn't miss us completely like it did after the last heatwave. We could see it falling heavy in the distance over the peaks of the peak district etc, but missed us completely.

A shower has just started.... This is not a drill, it's an actual shower, here, rain, wet stuff, watery bliss falling from the sky!!!!....

....annnnnd it stopped 😞 Not even enough to entirely cover the patio, just spots 😞

Still no 'real' rain, just those few spots, and the sun is shining again.

Where is this rain that people keep talking about? The forecast is full of promises yet it’s been dry as a bone. Today’s forecast is showing Sahara like conditions.

We seem to be missing out on the rain as well although it looks bleak. Glad to have missed out on the thunder can do without a terrified dog.

Yeah it’s just been light drizzle most of the morning … should be ok for lowering the fire risk I’d hope but not for any significant topping up of the reservoirs

The small amount of rain that we had forecast for late tonight has just disappeared. Wish it would rain as it's just really muggy at the moment.

Been persistent heavy rain here for around two hours now. So average summer weather for us.,

Was at a festival Friday to Monday (Supernormal), which was very challenging at times! No staying in the tent beyond 7/8am and then constantly trying to find shade and rehydrate. It's a tiny festival which helped (walking the distances involved in Glastonbury would have been impossible) but we still struggled at times. Missed out on some music we would have made the effort for but being in a sweaty tent or standing directly in the sun just wasn't going to happen. The evenings were lovely, though. I can't remember being able to go bare legged and armed at 1am in the UK at a festival before. Usually a hot day means a cold night but not this weekend.

We've had a fair bit of rain today in London but the ground is already drying back up. I'm not sure it'll make much impact.

I think this might be topping up the reservoirs today .. and the fire risk is surely gone !! Bring back summer 😞

Just back from a camping trip to the Lake District, despite the lovely weather there’s plenty water there😉
