So I wasn't there last year but from watching on TV it looked pretty good?

I used to always want dry over anything else, but 2019 was a bit much for us. It really impacted on us actually seeing bands as we were just seeking shade, especially that Saturday.

Wasn't there in 2016 but looks hideous. I always think the site looks so much less pretty when it's all mud as well (not that I've ever done a really muddy one - 2014 and 2011 have been my worst so I've been lucky).

Last year was perfect festival weather. Hope for the same this time around for sure.

I've just read an article about the california floods which included the line which jumped out at me "eventually, lethal weather will come for us all."

This is sadly completely true and will happen a lot quicker than most people think.o the article

Here's a link the article

If glasto has a heatwave like last summer people will be dropping like flies.

If it is of any interest and despite the recent weather, all the main tracks o  the farm are still rock hard with minimal slop on top. The drainage and the amount of hardcore put down over the last few years have had the desired effect. Any puddles that you can see on the webcam have little depth or significance.

The Whitelake is high but it is no higher than any other year at this time. It doesn't strike me as any different to any other January, and still shorts running weather.

Keep the faith people, it will be OK.

Yes, we were surprised just before Xmas how dry the site was though it’s been a bit wetter since then. Keep the faith? Thats Bon Jovi, surely it should be November rain, a bit more GnR😉

Not sure people have quite grasped this.

There will never be another 1985/2007 etc

On TV local weather said it is a record wet spell only worse in 2014.

Very good to hear! Seems crazy to be starting to get worried at this time of year but honestly last few weeks wherever I have been I have never known rain like it.

The years that start with this much rain tend to end up with waterlogged fields in Pilton in June.

Really wish this would stop coming up haha.

I like the fella who said there's minimal puddles on site

At the moment, yeah. Won't be the same when it rains solidly until June
