Coach journey times to & from the O2

Hi, I'm going by coach for the first time this year & was just wondering what to expect from journey times?

Google maps says the drive is around 3 hours from the O2 but assuming a bit more traffic on the way there, especially getting in (leaves at 9am).

The coach back is 5am Monday but should be a bit of an easier drive at that time so hoping we arrive back no later than 8am.

3 hours is optimistic in a coach, i'm thinking more like 4 hours. Its going to take a decent amount of time to get out of London given the strikes and coaches are slower than cars. Not sure if the London coaches usually stop enroute but if it does thats easily 30 minutes added on.

Also need to factor in accidents and breakdowns which hold traffic up, especially on country roads when they are busier than usual.   I'm not sure what you're planning around journey time, but just make sure you have enough food/drink to cover you for a long journey - just in case.
