Massive but moving really quickly at gate d. Done three car park fields in 15 mins.

Edit 9:08am at the top of orange 36.

Wouldn't get too excited about the speed of queue movement just yet. A lot will be down to people now standing up and so creating more space for those at the back to move forward. Doesn't mean it's moving at any great speed at the front.

Mates pulled into the carpark at 0753 and now in the snake at Gate D.

Not me, waiting for a coach in Brum.

I've got a few more hours before I can even claim to be waiting for the coach. :(

Bit different to normally sat in the campervan fields, having coffee and breakfast and watching the hoardes snake past on their way into the site and trying to figure out when we're in a fit state to join the queue ourselves.

Can someone be a little more straightforward than talking about crisps.

I assume there are no dogs.

Are they patting everyone down?

Searching pockets?

Making you empty your pockets?

Searching bags?

Thanks.

If there are dogs then it will be mostly for show and TV with shots of searches happening. Would likely need every trained dog from around the country to cover the size and number of people in the queues, and doubt they would have each dog able to work for long in the heat outside.

Agreed, some genuinely useful information would be good instead of spreading absolute nonsense about security confiscating crisps.
