As 2020 didn't happen, you could say just the last 2 and otherwise we are on track.

It will be interesting to see what comes next, I think if it is AM and GnR (even more so if the Legend is also male) they will be expecting criticism over the gender balance so may announce a number of female acts at the same time or just announce some lower down the bill acts and leave the headliners until the poster.

At this stage 2020 was still firmly happening, pubs didn’t even shut for a month yet in terms of the pandemic timeline, so it all counts.

What we've known as of 12th Feb:

2000 - 0
2002 - 0
2003 - 1 headliner
2004 - 0
2005 - 3 headliners, 2 other acts
2007 - 0
2008 - 2 headliners
2009 - 1 act
2010 - 3 headliners, 1 other act
2011 - 1 headliner
2013 - 1 act
2014 - 1 headliner
2015 - Legend
2016 - Legend
2017 - 1 headliner
2019 - 1 headliner, Legend,  1 other act
2020 - 2 headliners, Legend
2022 - 1 headliner, Legend, 2 acts
2023 - 1 headliner

I think it feels worse than normal because usually you get a lot of self confirms at this time of year and that has been pretty slow as well. I suspect artists are desperate to sell their own shows first and foremost.

I know it's cheap to say this, but I never do so here we are.

Got a good feeling we're gonna hear something this week.

(Based on absolutely nothing)

Auction finishes today, maybe a cheeky name or two to drive up hype for the ballot?

Download are announcing 35+ on Thursday so they're obviously waiting until both can confirm Lamb of God

I'm assuming not but is this likely to have any influence on the decision to release any G lineup news this week?

I kinda hope not. Not because I don't want her there, but because it'll mean another week absolute minimum before the curveball annoucenent that's definitely (maybe) coming.

What's the earliest and latest time of day we've ever had an announcement of any kind? I need to know when to keep my hopes up.

Latest has normally been 7pm - 8pm. Especially for 'main stage' stuff. Unsure on the late night stages. Who last year, came at all sorts of different times.

I guess the latest (though it was the artist, not the festival) was Billie Eilish's Instagram story which was around 23:30, the festival confirmed at around 09:50 the next day.

The line-up has been published at 8am a couple of times but also around 7pm a few times too.

Yep think it depends if it goes 6 Music or Radio 1. Feels like this year they might need to go Radio 2 to capture the target market

I think Radio 2 may be too (replacement) hip. Greatest Hits Radio for the 2023 announcement.
