My friend (who is the one who persuaded me to come back this year) left the Elton set half way through and said it's the most dead he'd ever seen the rest of the site. He's not keen on crowds, so just ended up getting off his face on something and bopping to Rudimental (or someone like that).

ok, well this isn't the first time...and US has been subject to multiple extreme weather events over the years...which are both normal in a singular event and not normal in the rate of them...but they just voted in Trump who wants to get rid of the wind turbines because bad for wildlife and use more fossil fuels because they are a gift from god. Net zero always required a great deal of sacrifice which obviously populations everywhere are unwilling to make, so we're just going to have to hope technology does the job.

LA wildfires might make a few of the rich sit up and think ... maybe im just being optimistic though 

There's no such thing anyway...I can't go on the internet and publish great ways to kill yourself or self harm or starve yourself or how to have sex with children or blow up a mall or a mosque or a nightclub, because that would be wrong. Or maybe I can, because free speech and boo hiss censorship. Asia censors it but no one seems to moan, as soon as anyone in Europe does then they are attacked by musk and his tech bro w*nkers.
