confirmed the day the gates opened  which is clear from the first line of the article, (and something is screwed with the publish date on the page [check the page url for the real publish date!]).

I was at least partly right with stereobores they needed to be kept quiet to make sure people turned up.

Diana Ross was the first officially labelled as Legends Slot. The festival always called it The Sunday Teatime Slot up until that point.

Not these too?

Omggggg keep seeing Stevie mentioned and really hope there’s traction behind this as someone said ‘it’s now or never’ Emily has said before about one of Mikes fave bands been Fleetwood but they always wanted too much money, want a way to celebrate this great man and on the year of his knighthood!

even just listening to the instrumental from ‘the chain’ gives me goosebumps and the thought of standing in front of the pyramid and that sound coming out of it I’d be a blubbering mess! 🤩

let’s hope this happens 🫶🏼

Grace Gillan needs to get her Dad on the farm! Would love to see Purple there but figure they would want to headline (which would never happen) and would cost too much! Still I can dream x

That would be nice! Robert Plant was quite happy to do a daytime slot so why not purple😉😊

That's from other sources though. If you look at the links on the festival site it was always the Sunday Teatime Slot up until Diana Ross announcement for 2020.

Kylie:

Diana Ross:

Bah, you can prove anything with "facts"

Do we think there’s any chance of an announcement tomorrow to coincide with Radio 1’s Slam Jam Glastonbury ticket giveaway? Surely it would be a bit awkward for someone to win, but the presenter can’t hype it up on air since we have no information.

I’m sure in previous years by the time R1 give away tickets we’ve always had news, but I could be wrong.

Pretty sure tickets to Glastonbury is more than enough to hype it up. They won't be lacking in entrants because no-one has been announced.

True, but normally the conversation is “You’re going to see the likes of Elton John, Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters and loads more!” And instead they’ll move swiftly on as there’s nothing to discuss. Just seems a bit clunky to me.
