Tickets for 2023 (cost of long crisis)

Anybody else think that tickets sales will be down. Remember this?

The resale was a lot easier than usual but the coverage and festival as a whole was very well received by the media. I think its unlikely - certainly not hours to sell out but maybe a bit easier than usual perhaps similar to the resale.

@gfayou've said before how much easier it was - if so how do you square the circle that not everyone in our resale group got a ticket?

From my point of view in both resales the whole group tried until the bitter end and were well organised.

In both cases some lost out. I believe perhaps three volunteered and 1 or 2 didn't want to be there working so didn't go.

I’m just basing it off 71/73 people getting in the efestivals group. Usually its a third that get a ticket - i’d say its hard to argue with such a gap that, sorry to hear your group didn’t get lucky though of course.

It's our group - both you and I are in it together 😊

I didn't realise they typically only get a third? As a non-groupie in the past I'd only seen happy success messages shared on the forum

Was my first time too but yep usually only a quarter to a third apparently. Not sure about general sale. It goes how it goes but fingers crossed we can repeat that success!

Its not just the ticket costs but more the costs of thing once inside.   Saw a picture of the Bar prices from the Lytham Festival where it is £6.50 for a pint of 3.8% Carlsberg. 

I have paid £80 for a Tramlines weekend ticket which is excellent value.
