Oh and if StuBru is correct we can write off AM too:

"It's your only chance to see them live in our country in the near future"

https://stubru.be/lees/vijf-redenen-waarom-jij-bij-de-exclusieve-show-van-arctic-monkeys-moet-zijn?view=web

Today, during the StuBru Popcast, it was said that AM waits till the summer to come back to Belgium. So that makes RW the most plausible

Is this realistic of how stacked RW is or is it a bit extreme ?? That saturday headliner clash is brutal

If I have to go through another AM close I'm gonna drink myself into an early grave.

However the rest I'd be totally on board for***

Gn'R - they play too long to fit in RW scheme (the last time they gave an artist 3 hours was 2014 - Pearl Jam - and they wasted 30 precious minutes of that time)

George Ezra is a Main Stage artist, that's for sure

My Chemical Romance will NEVER sub/headline Werchter - @Ken19 (where are You, btw?) stated this precicely more than once on this board)

Ghost serve perfect pop&metal balance - they're VERY big and NO WAY they'll play 4th down. Graspop is the place for them

Arctic Monkeys - destined to show up. New songs are just like the last ones - utterly boring, arena sized material for fans only

QOTSA, Pulp & Halsey - YES please

So….  Can someone tell me the basics about RW.  Camping? Is it decent, are there glamping options or hotels etc.. close?.  How quickly does it sell out?

was thinking of this as our Glasto back up but with Glasto tickets on sale Later this year no idea if I’d miss out on a ticket

Tickets don't sell out that fast, you can try for Glasto then buy these as a backup, that's probably what we're doing! The glamping stuff seems to be what goes faster.

There are camping / glamping options or you can stay in Leuven nearby, shuttle busses constantly back and forth, incredibly easy to get to from the UK.

The Hive resort and Rock Village are the best glamping options within a short walking distance from the entrance. The latter is not organised by RW it's ±15 mins walking (hence a bit more quiet after 3am if you are a light sleeper) and doesn't sell out immediately. The Hive resort is right next to the festivalpark, within ±5 mins walking distance and sells out very fast.

My advice from my maiden voyage this year would be to bring earplugs for The Hive Resort if you don't wanna listen to the worst dance remixes humanly possible until 3am.

Camping next to the cheesy music in the Williams Green area at Glasto…. I feel your pain

We played a game called "how long until In The End remix" and it's never more than 30 minutes

Again? They have done Pukkelpop 2 months ago.

I can totally see AM doing Sportpaleis in may though...

I didn't know they played PP this summer. I thought AM were very dull both in 2018 and 2014....but you guys are probably right, unfortunately everything seems to be aligning up for AM playing RW23...I'm just gonna have to pray for a good alternative in the barn.

Their set was boring as hell. First time seeing time... finally... very disappointed. If they close the day and there's not a good alternative in the Barn, I'll just go home earlier!
