Green Man 2025

We had all the same problems everyone’s written above, I tried to get in whilst on holiday and got sold out instantly but a few of our groups got through so luckily enough we’re in.
Really looking forward to it, none of us have been Green Man before so excited to try something different. My wife and I have done the last four Glasto’s (worked in 2022) but felt like time for a bit of a change.

You'll love it. It's like best of Glastonbury without the massive amount of people/queues/schlepping

I don’t know for sure, but I’d think glamping is against the ethos of settlers. Settlers are the for those who’d normally go on a week long camping holiday and settlers gives them a fairly cheap 3 days of camping with entertainment thrown in.

I’ve not done settlers but have camped at the Glanusk campsite (At the back of Orange Parking) a couple of times and can totally see the attraction of settlers it’s a lovely location with or without the festival crowds.

Does anyone know if they have glamping for settlers?

All the glamping tents are set up on site before the site opens for Settlers but I don’t think anyone manages that area so it’s probably off limits / not available.

Why not apply to work at GM next year, free ticket, free food (I think) and you’ll get a fair amount of time off to watch some performers.

I used to work festivals, but now I'd rather actually have a a holiday when I take annual leave. I'm not made of tough stuff any more 🌅

Should I be worried? I made two orders and£800 has left my account. I haven’t had an email confirmation yet so I don’t even know what I’ve actually ordered I was too caught up in the panic of it all. I know a green message popped up

both times and one did have red typing in it but that one took the big money so I must’ve bought at least two. Has anyone else not received an email?

Me and a friend have had the same experience. Did you notice an error message after you purchased? We both had that but also had the money come out. The error message contained a number for customer services which my very patient friend called and waited on hold for an hour. They said they would go through each order like that over the weekend and allocate the correct tickets, so to look out for a confirmation email after the fact. I haven't received said email yet but I'm hopeful it will be this week.

Delighted to have mine in the bag but looking at the amount of regular attendees that have come out empty handed, I have to wonder if some sort of loyalty option should not be explored. The fan base that have been there in the lean years where Green Man desperately needed support should be offered at the very least some sort of presale access, no? If you can show 5+ years of attendance? Tougher to track with multiple tickets vendors I suppose.

I spoke to them yesterday and they also reassured me that they would be allocating tickets. They said that one of my orders was on an instalment plan and that was an issue I would need to pay the full amount instead. They said they would ring today for the rest of the money.

five minutes ago they put £500 into my account without explanation no email. No phone call. I will be very upset if I’ve lost the ticket.

I've not stayed in Hotel Bell Tent, but I've been in Tangerine Fields twice. It's a fair bit closer to the main stage. Doesn't have dedicated showers and bogs or security... but I love the tents and the location.

We've stayed in hotel bell tent, but I'm not sure what your question is. The tents are comfortable, there's not much noise from neighbouring tents but you certainly hear the late night DJ sets from the festival. The showers are great, there's compost and flushable toilets, and the charging tent is helpful. Although I can't believe the number of people that leave their devices there rather then a battery.

anyone know why has this thread has merged with a random old one?

wondering the same. Seemed better to have a separate thread for each year - as it was previously set up!

Apologies folks, this thread was mistakenly merged rather than just moved into the Other UK Festivals forum. Admin has been informed and hopefully we can split it off again for a separate GM 2025 thread. Please bear with it for the time being.

we did Hotel Bell Tent last year and specifically requested Green Area. Wouldn't get too caught up on the "along the river" part, it's all effectively along the river and our one in the green area didn't actually look out onto the river due to another row of tents behind us.

I'd say it's more about how close to the entrance / how busy and noisy you want it to be. Red certainly looked more packed together and noisy, but was right by the exit / entrance and therefore closer to the festival. Green was in the middle and Pink further away still. Would just base it on how much you value peace and quiet / don't mind a bit of a walk.

Thanks for the info,my question(not very well illustrated) was proximity from green field to festival site, have used hotel bell tent previously and have always been happy with them😃

It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to the walled garden, depending on what state you're in.
