Devastated is an understatement. I'm doing Isle of Wight then Glasto. I could do Romsey but the venue is in the arse end of absolute nowhere.

 

I'm still going to buy tickets and then I'll work out the logistics

She is doing that during glasto weekend. Warwick and hyde twice. Then a day off and 3 more gigs in a row. Pretty quick trip it seems.

I would hazard a guess that the U.K. and glasto too probably hold a lot of memories. Quick in and out, nobody has to think of finding out about the nanny via the iPad. 🙈

Not officially ruled out as Sunday is still open but Moderat being in Prague and then Istanbul makes them seem pretty unlikely unfortunately.

Oh man. Half disappointed that appears to rule them out of Glasto (unless... secret set?) but half relieved that I'll have the chance to see them again this summer.

I can’t say I was expecting Pavement to play at all but a shame to have them ruled out, they’d make a great Park/JP headliner. I went into their Primavera set only knowing a couple of albums and not being a huge fan but they were so good, one of the highlights of the weekend for me.

Yeah I don’t think Pavement were ever very likely tbh. Can’t quite describe why but they just strike me as the kind of band Glastonbury wouldn’t book at this point, possibly because they’d just receive better pay and better billing (aka either headlining or slightly lower) elsewhere. 

But yeah, shame either way as they’re one of my favourites and I would’ve loved to see them again.

Always a bit of a longshot, but I allowed myself to hope when we found out they were doing festivals again this summer... they've always had an affinity for the UK, be it Peel Sessions or just their record collections, so it felt like something they might want to make happen.

Yeah he’s doing Lolla … Brazil (??)I think this year. One of the South American ones.

He's probably getting a very healthy payday from all of that, and I would imagine means that he won't have to bother touring South America later in the year with 21 Savage.
