James have announced a festival on the  Sunday 28th of may so could be them for fri/sat.

Not sure how they could fit them in though.

They are doing a Sunday afternoon special guest slot at Latitude so maybe something like that?

Would be made up if James were added but can't see it unfortunately

Surely we only have interpol and primal as pallet headliners so far. Maybe flogging molly on Thurs night with Numan subbing? Really hope Numan isn't a headliner, awful when I saw him last (SUPPORTING MAXIMO PARK!)

Yep, I hadn't really thought about many names being added, plenty to keep me occupied already, more interested to fund out stage/day splits tbh so we can see what sort of act will end up in the big top and which in the Woodland.

Hot 8 Brass Band have Bearded on their tour poster, I'll take that. Saw them in New Orleans, quality band

On the basis they had 58 bands across the pallet and woodland last year and have only announced 33 over these and the new big top I’m hoping for another 30-40 acts at least. I suspect Leylines and Jess Silk are there based on certain posts on FB and hoping for as many of the following Rev and Makers, PWEI, Kingmaker, Gaz Brookfield, Funke, bar stool preachers, Mary wallopers, dawn after dark, cutcapers, as possible

Fruitbats 'Abdoujaparov' have self confirmed...Rev, PWEI & Kingmaker would be great additions

I expect a huge amount of clashes over the weekend!

Woke up at 4.30am and very impressed. Now unable to sleep as looking at setlists!

My main concern is that it is too good and clashes. Especially with the big top arena. Are we thinking Pretenders are our final headliner over Numan?

PSB are surely in the tent ot maybe woodland? Yet again some great girls there. Never seen such a face heavy line up anywhere. Fantastic work.

Yeah absolutely can't complain at that. Well happy with Billy Bragg, Deja Vega, PSB, Sleeper, Pretenders.

Looks like an incredibly strong line up from the headliners down. Loads of great new bands. 

If the changes mean fewer issues with pinch points around the site (the introduction of the Big Top should alleviate a lot of last years issues around the Woodland) this should be a phenomenal year. 

Gonna be clashes all over the place...will be running around a like blue arsed fly.

Odd. Just logged in to post again and it said I was banned for about 10 minutes. 

Said to my other half I genuinely think you could split this line up into two festivals and they would still both be quite impressive (she said 'its February, its 5.30am in the morning and the festival isn't until May so shut up and let me get back to sleep you tw*t'. Harsh, but probably fair)

Is this festival always this indie? I always had it as more of a world / fringe music type thing a la Womad or Boomtown. I dig it though!

Always been a fair bit indie on it, but with DHP now doing the booking, as expected there is more than usual.

But am happy with it ☺️
