Should be good not seen him for a while My Mistake - I had a quick look ' on a ticket site ' and it came up with Reading for September so it may mean your venue in Bristol has sold out. I have looked at his official site and I can see he is ' all over the shop ' + a few gigs in Norway and even the USA . I am amazed he has so many gigs must say the ticket price is very reasonable. 李焱Shaoxing
您好 87, first and best for me. Last was 2011, not a vintage one but with hindsight it weren’t so bad. Fuji rock is my local one now, it does the job.

Probably couldn't or wouldn't happen today at least not in the same way. Its a shame. Great comment. I think sometimes at festivals (and other things in life) I'm guilty of trying to re-create the past rather than living in the present. That said ....going to Beautiful Days last year I think I found most of the people who used to go to Glastonbury pre-super fence! 😄

Pinhead
They can be - think they exclude them from inside the venues tho? Otherwise there's always a big ring of them around the marquees.

I spent a lot of time with Reef in 2001 when they were trying to write their 5th album. They holed up in a remote N Devon farm, which just happened to be owned by a friend of mine. A lot of partying and surfing were done and a lot of jamming, I don't remember much writing of new material. Nice lads.
Pinhead
I went to a school in North Devon, so I'm guessing Croyde, maybe Saunton Sands for surfin....
Pinhead
I'll bet the remote Devon farm was near Morthoe?

Pinhead
Ah not so familiar. Being N of Barnstaple it was more Saunton, Croyde. Anyway - that line up is pure 90's in every respect and like an indie history lesson. I have a memory of 1997 crashing Sleepers backstage party in Brixton and giving her a peck on the cheek.... Deffo wasn't Undleground as we were parked up in the field below, a big field, just on the east of the track about 50m from the entrance to Carhenge. Some of the exhibits they ' were using welding torch on site ' - No way would health and safety allow that now. main highlight was Robyn Hitchcock & the Egyptians on Friday 19th June and Richard Thompson on Saturday 20th June mainly dry but some wet periods got muddy in some areas What year did the Jazz World (now West Holts) first appear? I notice it was still camping only back in 1989....

Skip997
Quote Throughout these changes two principles have cemented West Holts’ foundations, allowing its development into one of those quintessential Glastonbury experiences: it’s got to be about the music and the vibe has got to be right! So true, the one stage that consistently gets it right.
