Crazyfool01
Fuck the dynamic pricing by ticket master …. If anyone fancies retweeting this …
moogster
Ha and tickets are already on second hand websites for ridiculous prices... Of note: my ticketmaster counts the bracelet as a cool gift included in the price... I'm wondering if they couldn't make an app instead, and have the lights go on people's cell phones for example. Probably too much lag ... Reduce is still better than re-use and recycle, so I'm being told... Well with those prices them doing Glasto would definitely be good value... TIA Worth mentioning that they actually own the company that makes them now. Think they bought them before the 2016 tour. So it’s also in their interests for us to hand them back from a cost perspective 🤣

Was there no option to split up for the set? I never have this issue as my girlfriend hates camping, so would never do Glastonbury....so I go with my mates, which on one hand means it means I can do what I want, but the problem also becomes I can do what I want. 😄 My mum went to see Coldplay last week at Wembley (I got her tickets for Christmas) she enjoyed it very much and at that Glastonbury 2016 a mate of mine pulled and went with said girl to Coldplay instead of LCD with us and said it was a very good show even if it wasn't his sort of music. They've already improved the technology - controlling certain parts of the stadium (stands by block) was a big jump from last time, so not out the question there will be further developments. I guess the only issue with the app is battery life, and people having train tickets/payment etc on their phones nowadays.

Good lads He seemed to really enjoy it and they even brought out a birthday cake for him which he seemed quite touched by. I was going to give this tour a miss as I haven't really enjoyed most of their recent stuff but picked up a couple of standing tickets for last night that appeared on Ticketmaster during the week. They were excellent as usual, first half of the set in particular which had plenty of older songs. I thought the mix of ages in the crowd was quite notable, a surprising amount of teenagers there. Some of the newer songs like Hymn for the Weekend, My Universe etc got some of the biggest reactions of the night along with the usual classics. whereas not many around me seemed too into Politik. As much as I'm not into their recent stuff and think it's a clear step down, they've done a very good job at not seeming too old or outdated. Given the amount of tickets they've sold for this tour worldwide and that they seem to sell out multiple nights in stadiums everywhere, they seem to be more popular than ever which is quite impressive over 20 years in. kalifire
I’ll be giving this tour a miss but can’t recommend their live shows highly enough. I saw the Head Full of Dreams tour in 2016 in Melbourne and loved it, despite not being a die hard fan. Some bands just excel live, and Coldplay are one of them.

Maybe people like them 🤷♂️ 🙈😂 In all seriousness, the speed at which these have sold out is incredible, and surprising. My last tickets weren't even hard to get, I logged on in the evening and purchased them, simple as that. All dates but the first 2 announced had space. This time, they're literally all sold out. I'm guessing it's the rave reviews? Numerous media outlets, including respected music outlets, have been raving about this tour, calling it their personal best yet, and one of the best of all time ever. Guessing that's helped shift them. Edited August 25, 2022 by Alvoram
Alvoram
BTW if you wanted, but failed, to get tickets, don't give up yet, keep checking... I have a hunch there's more to be added. I could be wrong, am probably wrong, it's just a hunch... EDIT: I should clarify, this isn't some cryptic way of implying I know something, I don't, it really is just a hunch... Those gaps either side still seem too long. (could always be festivals!) dotdash79
Maybe 1 or 2 dates in Cardiff or somewhere else. Manchester has no space left based on getting the stage from Spain to the UK, it seems like they have 1 tour set rather than 2 sets.

Edwin’s voice a bit weak, not unexpected of course, but Chris Martin sang along.

Everyone going with us next year saw videos, pictures etc of last week (many of them excitedly sent by me after the gig!) and decided it was either time to watch them again or watch them for the first time. We've got 5 extras on the basis of just that! One dropped out due to price (though that did make it a bit easier as only one of us had to get through this morning) Edited August 25, 2022 by efcfanwirral

I was also surprised at the large number of teenagers and folk in their early 20s. Some wouldn’t have been born when I first saw Coldplay! The Glasgow tickets were print at home only and they just became available to print a few days before the gig. No phones. For me the great thing is how the older singles have endured and sort of passed down to the younger people - The Scientist, Yellow, even In My Place. And they sit alongside actual pop hits like My Universe. Older album tracks haven't really made it there but they still play them which is briliant- wasn't expecting Politik or Sparks at all Edited August 25, 2022 by efcfanwirral
