They announced a London date for that weekend this morning. Unfortunately it's being advertised as their only UK date.

"...only UK headline show" according to the AEG advert. AEG website says "one and only UK show".

Which begs the question, is a festival a show?

But haven’t they already been ruled out by the festival?

Would imagine we’ll see a few of those others on that lineup though - CLH is good, Primal Scream would be ace of course on the mountain

mixed reaction from me. there's a few in the undercard I'm very excited about but the headliners do nothing for me.

See, I kept saying not to get your headliner hopes up unrealistically high. Spiritualized headlining when they were only Thursday EOTR headliners in 2019 has a feel of someone pulling out if only announcing three of them didn't already. But... the undercard is fantastic. (No Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, though?)

It's not that they've shared a headliner, I know that happens, it's "they're still considered headline level?"

Les Savy Fav, The Delgados, Spiritualized, Bob Vylan and The Walkmen all great for me as they are bands I've kept missing the chance to see live.

In general though, I think this is a really poor lineup compared to some of the past runs, especially on the top end of the billing (First Aid Kit and Spiritualized, while a big fan of both, do not strike me as top billing material in 2023)
