A reminder that on this very day in 2008 someone at See Tickets had a whoopsie and put tickets on sale early.

I got in as easy as you like on a "test" run, kept thinking as I clicked through each page it's going to stop me but I had tickets purchased along with confirmation email by 8.27am.

That's quite a whoopsie!  Typical it happened on the year when they were available for months and months!

Remembered a ticket story that happened to my (now) wife, I didn't know her at the time. Her and a group of mates had tickets for the 2013 festival and booked tepee accommodation and on one of the information emails to everyone who had booked to stay in tepees they didn't 'bcc' everyone, so all email addresses were visible to all recipients, totaling I think over 100 people. A number of them kicked off about data protection etc. so by way of an apology the festival game them all pre access to book guaranteed 2014 tickets the following year. They all got a special link the week before main sale where they could go in and buy a ticket if they fancied.

Wish they would share my data with everyone that went to the festival so I could get this

Never got through, for those that have, what info do I need to put in about my group of 6 if I'm successful? Just names and reg. numbers for now? Got a spreadsheet with more on, just want to be sure

Yes name and reg numbers. Used to be postcode too IIRC but I think reg numbers are sufficient

Reg number and postcode for each person.

and ensure you have the postcode EXACTLY as they put it in the system . ie if they didnt put a space then you do the same when booking .

i had an instance in 2019 booking , got in for a friend , put everything in ( cut n paste ) and it failed on one postcode , rang him and checked it , and it was correct , managed to get back in again and still failed , turned out he had not put the space in when he registered ! , so a whole group of 6 failed for one mistake !

dont know what happened in your case but this is covered on the website somewhere and they say it doesnt matter

Yep - spaces don't matter and it's not case sensitive - but everything else needs to match exactly.

Spaces did matter at one point, but they changed that several years ago (somewhere around 7-10)
