You pay the full coach ticket up front with the deposit.

Tickets would be put up for sale (on the usual ticket site) without any warning or announcement from the festival.

Usually only a small number to get rid of any returns. These days they use the friends and family scheme instead, which you may have encountered.

Yes, every year I get an email, offering me the chance to get a couple of tickets for friends and family. This year it was 30th March.

When organising a spreadsheet for a syndicate what columns do people generally put in their spreadsheet? So far i've got last name/reg number/postcode/group number/coach(Yes/No). Do i need anything else?

Coach yes/no isn't an option really.  Your either buying on Thursday or Sunday! 

Other than that, you've got it covered - unless you've got more than one person with the same surname!

We have a separate one for coach and normal … the normal one will get rejigged after coach sale … coach one also needs departure city and day of departure…

Coach location + backup locations

Which day coach is being prioritised, whether if they don't get that they are happy with a thursday one. for london/bristol, preferred time too

Lordy, the screenshot of the 2023 deposit window set the heart racing a bit. As someone who uses the festival to make an international trip and spend time with family and friends while there, a lot is riding on being successful in the sale. Every year there's genuine anxiety starting at about 8:50am and ending when it's no longer possible to try for tickets.

The ones I’ve had this year and 2019 work for only pre approved registration numbers.

They are a link to the standard booking page but only work with people who’ve registration numbers have been whitelisted, otherwise it says tickets not available.

I've never taken up the offer, so don't know exactly how it works.
