UK event 1-4day camp. Starting plan.

I've just had my thoughts on starting electro swing festival.  I have a venue/field to rent for up to 4days. Holding 500 max.   Camping,toilets,drinks included in price, and bring own 😁.  I just need the feed back a like to this.  I'm thinking 1-2day/night £25. 1-4 nights £45.   Has security on day of events which is live band 1-2nights.  but general mixes included through the stay.    The place to get to is Little Hay, close by Sutton Coldfield.

Not sure if this is a genuine post, a scam or a troll, but whatever, I'm bored.

500 people at £45 gives you £22.5k which does not seem a lot to pay for four days worth of festival infrastructure (security, water, sanitisation, toilets, staging, crew, and plenty more) plus entertainment for four days.

Unless you've got another income source that looks incredibly light.

It's a niche genre for a whole festival, the OP may be better canvassing the promoters/organisers and online collectives on the scene for demand?

I think Maui Waui started off as electr-swing but seem to have expanded their horizons a little. About £100 a ticket 😲

Great idea in theory pricing it low but it means you wouldn't have money for infrastructure and legal/health & safety as well as all the ad-hoc you haven't thought about.

Thanks everyone for the feed back appreciate it. And no not a scam (not what I was looking for those thanks, it's worth trying then 😁), just got a nice deal and about even, I just want some swing,dancin,and a laugh.  The boutique idea, it would be a live band(swing) the first and third night. But yeah could do tunes mixes.through the day/ and second night.  (El tigr3)(toxic avenger)(magicsword),   And advertisment is gonna be a pain.   But 15mins Sutton not bad to get. To?  And somewhere close that's nice to visit.
