It’s the irritating noise at full volume . But then it’s designed to warn you of an impending nuclear strike so I suppose that’s ok.  we got it this evening to warn us of runaway trampolines

They said "in the next few weeks" at the start of the month, so I hope it's announced soon.   Anyway, I don't know if we can take last year as a precedent because the announcement then was used to promote the sales a litte. This year has been such a success that they really may not care at all about usual timings. Let's hope the early sold out does not make them too comfy.

Please be safe Chris (and others.) Just watched the detailed met forecast about it on YT. They seem worried to a degree I've never seen before. Kept reiterating how serious a red alert is, and highlighting how rare they are. First time ever for some areas covered by the warning.  You're literally in the area they're predicting some of the worst winds for. Charge your power banks, fill up water bottles, torches at the ready, yadda yadda yadda. I have a really bad feeling about this, but will be crossing my fingers for everyone in N.I and Scotland.
