Sleater-Kinney as headliner would be perfect. Would also like any of Bas Jan, Peaches, Tune-yards, Yves Tumor, Gwenno, Gruff Rhys, Rosalie Cunningham, Lonelady and Kelis. Need St Vincent to come back soon for a hat-trick of solo headline performances.

Also Le Tigre are active again, but extremely unlikely to ever happen as UK Bikini Kill Roundhouse show cancelled after multiple postponements.

Pavement and Deerhoof would keep the other half more than happy.

Would love to see the return of Mogwai for the first time since 2011. They've had some cracking albums since then so plenty for a whole different set.

Other potential headliners - Mitski, Big Thief, Laura Marling, Phoebe Bridgers (surely too big now), SVE (doubt she'll be over next year though), Angel Olsen especially as booked for 2020.

Potential returnees - Julia Jacklin, BCNR, Pom poko, snail mail, Stella Donnelly

Others - Bess Atwell, Honeyglaze, Low Hummer, Working Mens Club

I don't think there'd be anything stopping SVE coming over if Olsen would, but I also get the feeling that of the two still to play from the 2020 headliners Big Thief are the more likely to be over. Bridgers is probably too big for Green Man now, let alone EOTR. Marling is a good shout, she's due a new album and it's kind of surprising she hasn't headlined before (I know she headlined GM in 2016)

Fiona Apple headlining the Garden.

Hasn't played live since 2017 and I think everyone would be surprised if she had something new out so soon.

Spoon are overdue a visit, maybe also Death Cab For Cutie. First Aid Kit's new album launch feels a little muted but they might be headliner level by now. Wet Leg, who might have a second album out between then and now, headlining the Thursday back where it all started?

Throwing some other names in: The WAEVE (just announced album in February), the Delgados, The Mountain Goats, Julia Jacklin, Daniel Rossen, The Beths, Stella Donnelly, Illuminati Hotties, Indigo Sparke, Algiers, Jesse Tabish (from Other Lives), Cheekface, Kate Davis, Hamish Hawk, Melin Melyn, Panic Shack

Stella Donnelly was great last time, funny as hell, and her new record is getting universally good reviews

Marling, headlined the Garden a few years ago, with a pashmina wrapped around her bonce. Looked like a Nigella Lawson garden party.

Surprised Bill Callahan hasn't been mentioned, new album out this year, short tour this Autumn - maybe he'll be back at the tail end of next year.

I'm with all those calling for Big Thief's headline slot to be returned, if they're active next year I'd love them to be back, along with Adrianne/Buck doing a solo show somewhere.

Slowdive? Played a very limited run of gigs this year, working on a new album albeit going slowly, them headlining off the back of a new album would be a treat.

King Gizz have got 3 new albums this autumn, they'd be a great headliner.

Dream headliners for me would be Joanna Newsom (not been active for years now though so very unlikely) and The Smile (probably out of EOTRs price range, I'm just hoping EOTR had a nice relationship with Jonny Greenwood to get him back with Thom and Tom)

Sparks, Deathheaven, Jens Lekman, CMAT, Genesis Owusu, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Self Esteem, Half Man Half Biscuit, Phosphorescent.

That'll do for now, without repeating plenty I'd love to see that have already been mentioned.

Early bird purchased

HMHB is the dream!

Some of these likely not plausible but seeing as it's a wishlist!

Dream headliners would be getting one or two of Pavement (probably a push tbh, but if they're still around in a year), Beach House, Angel Olsen, Mitski, St Vincent, Big Thief, Fontaines DC. Maybe Self Esteem for the Thursday.

Others who have been around lately or played before at EOTR I'd love include (in no particular order or stage): Young Fathers now they've got a new song out, Parquet Courts,  Yves Tumor who I always miss in the UK, Mdou Moctar, Les Savy Fav, Let's Eat Grandma, Just Mustard, Tune-Yards, WH Lung, Kelly Lee Owens, Gilla Band, Protomartyr, Ty Segall, Alex G, Cate Le Bon, Metz, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Porter Robinson, Fredagain, Dry Cleaning, Diiv, Destroyer, Lewsberg, TVAM, Viagra Boys, Wand, Preoccupations, Bill Ryder-Jones, Iceage. And I'd happily have Cola back with some new tunes and some of the other acts from this weekend!

And stuff I've not seen touring in the UK yet like MJ Lenderman and Enumclaw. Know there will be some stuff on the bill I'll love that I've never heard of, but still! Early bird bought already...

Totally agree with the comment about more experimental stuff. I would also like to see more hip-hop (clipping., Injury Reserve, Moor Mother, Zebra Katz, Genesis Owusu) and more jangle-pop and shoegaze (The Chills, The Bats, The Radio Dept., The Reds Pinks & Purples, Say Sue Me, Tokyo Shoegazer). And if they could continue their recent trend of booking lots of African artists, that would be great too! Songhoy Blues, Tal National, Bab L'Bluz and Nihiloxica come to mind.

Other wishes:

A Certain Ratio, Dungen, SPELLLING, Jens Lekman, Kings of Convenience, Ichiko Aoba, Park Jiha, Guerilla Toss, Loop, Real Lies, Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, Kiko Dinucci, Fire! Orchestra, Okonkolo, Orquesta Akokán, Jay Munly, Slim Cessna's Auto Club.
