I think Fred Again would take the MSW spot, as with Glastonbury he seems content on being booked in slightly smaller slots than he could potentially be doing. That twilight slot as the darkness comes out would be perfect for a 75 minute Fred set - like Disclosure in 2021.

He is probably just about big enough to do MSE, but I think he won’t

He would have been booked for glasto mid-late 2022, at which point his largest solo uk shows were a trio of brixton dates

He's headlining everywhere he is playing this year, he was doing small shows to build hype etc but now he's made it i think

Thet are playing Scotland on the Friday, which means they are only available Sat/Sun.

Ergo Saturday Reading, Sunday Leeds.

I'd been wondering how quick the turnaround was for them to play three shows on the bounce.

But it seems too convenient in terms of rearranging those other dates.

They did this over the summer, so I assume its an absolute non-issue to do Friday, Saturday, Sunday

September 12, 2023 Copenhagen Denmark Royal Arena
September 13, 2023 Stockholm Sweden Avicii Arena
September 14, 2023 Oslo Norway Oslo Spektrum

They play Scotland the Thursday and Friday AFTER Reading & Leeds.

Belfast/Dublin the Monday and Tuesday after the festival.

Sorry probably should have said. My mate sent it to me says he’s been told it’s real but asked my thoughts. There’s at least one spelling error so I think it’s probably just a reasonably good prediction.

Defo not real, old logo's for starters for Blink and TOP. Also Peggy Gou that low down is never gonna happen.

Courteeners out, announced for Lytham Festival and billed as their only northern show next summer.

Thank god. I think the time of the Courteeners threatening to take up a headline slot (even MSW) has passed. They’ll be a perennial sub, maybe even third down if they do appear again.

What are the chances of any of the following artists performing? Or would I have more hope at Wireless?

J Cole

Earl Sweatshirt

Tyler the Creator

A£AP ROCKY

Big Sean

Chance the Rapper

6lack

I could see Earl playing but from that list, I think only Tyler would play R&L. The rest are prime Wireless fodder.
