I have them fourth down Pyramid on the Saturday funnily enough! I would have them as WH headliners but I think Cypress Hill would be the choice for a rap headliner. I could also see Ice Cube doing 3rd/4th down Pyramid too!
For those that unfamiliar with Oxfam we are a HUGE number on site - about 2500 all told in our own secure field with our own facilities. Add a proper stage and it would resemble a complete festival in itself. All tents and camper vans are in the SAME field. Cars are parked in a big field right next door. It is all VERY CONVENIENT and well organised. One really good thing is that the small number of entrances to the Oxfield has 24 hour security checks (Oxfam stewards) Your stuff is safe and secure all week! So the field is not far from Pedestrian Gate B. You can hear the Pyramid Stage PA very clearly from the field. Unless you are on Shift or in a briefing how you spend your time is entirely up to you. Wanna make mud people all day ? - no problem. Of course, the site is now so gargantuan that walking to some stewarding positions could take forever so there are minibuses to go to the furthest points like Sticklinch and Ped Gate D. They go direct from the Oxfield.
My only real negative is that the shift times at Glastonbury are very weird indeed. Early shift is crack of dawn stuff finishing about 1pm. Overnight starts well before midnight . Dawn is breaking as you trudge home to camp. This can play havoc with my 66 year old system. I will, hopefully, see you in June.
We went a few years ago and it does suffer from a bit of poor security, they had loads of tents being robbed, ours was done as well.
Music was good but the site is in a valley so if it rains it gets muddy, also the car park is miles away from the festival site( further that glastonbury distance), and some camping is up a massive hill.
