The Stones have a couple of days off in there ÑA tour over glasto weekend. They could potentially do Saturday or Sunday.

no they won't have it booked by the new year . they might have the first poster ready .... possibly

First time looking at this thread since getting my tickets on Sunday 😄 Am I the only person that thinks the Daily Mail leak was probably bang on the money? 😕

TBF the buzz around here and the other place was that Dua/Coldplay/Madge was the most likely trio well before the Daily Mail said.

She said "early in" the year.

Based off previous Glastonbury definition of "soon" and "imminent", it'll probably be March.

no thats fine ask away .. tends to be that the bigger acts come first for main stages  then it whittles down to the finner details as we get closer

Yeah their "houseband" status at Prima is getting a little weird now, but absolutely no issue with them topping the Other at Glastonbury seven years after they last played.

It’s not a trio that I would be hugely excited by but I think each act is feasible and makes a lot of sense.

yep agree obviously the delayed sale might have pushed things back slightly but guess we still have to wait to see if Madonna does BST before we get her at least

It's a trio that's rock solid. Assuming Dua's new record is out by then you'll the hottest young pop star on the planet headlining for the first time, biggest guitar band around headlining yet again and a bona fide musical legend and arguably the biggest living act never to have done it before.

Don't think they could get much bigger as a trio.

Dua undeniably a worthy headliner. Houdini has done 40million listens in a week. Her album is going to do insane numbers.

For my personal tastes it's only Madge out of the trio mentioned who would be a 100% definite that i'll be there.

Outside of this it all very much comes down to the other headliners.

I just don't want to find myself at a pity Fatboy Slim set because there's naff all else on. 

Saturday unquestionably weak for my personal tastes in 2023.

I'm not disputing there popularity.  

Would never refer to them as a guitar band in a million years.  Some songs feature some light strumming.  But that's still dead wrong description sorry...

Doubt they would even think they were that themselves.....
