I love them, their other headline set was great but there is no sign of them making the jump size wise to reach headline status. Their last tour they did 4 nights at the olympia in london which is 28k (i presume sold out)

They did the reading/leeds secondary headliner slot this year and have nothing in the pipeline for a 2024 slot, let alone to be moved up to a bigger slot

If Foals had been around and gotten as big as they eventually did pre-2009, back before the festival stopped (for the most part) giving artists a leg up and instead just settled on to certified music mega headliners all of the time, then they probably would’ve been one of those acts who got a leg up and topped the bill, but alas they came about too late a were relegated to Pyramid sub instead and that’s definitely as high as they’re ever gonna get now (and presumably where they’ll play next time they’re booked, although hopefully not for a few years now - they need to f**k off for a bit).
