The music world is full of artists who never really "made it big", despite being so much better than some of those who became massive.

This is not the fault of the artist, the "blame" lies partly on the listening public and partly on mainstream radio stations promoting shite.

And partly on the public liking shite Which is why the radio stations promote shite.

Certainly shows the 'She's either doing one of Glastonbury or Coachella' story to be a load of old hogwash.

lot of hogwash around here  we are each our own filter for what is and isn't hogwash. so looks like you've got there eventually, would have been better if you'd got it originally.

It's called 'discussion'.

It's literally the whole purpose of the thread.

No way to keep track of the full thred but has anyone floated Britney as a 'massive female headliner thats recently became available'?

It varies. Recently Macca, Kendrick and Elton all went above and beyond.

Absolutely. There's those who get Glastonbury, and those who don't - and a few in-between. (Guns N' Roses, for all the blowback, probably understood the magnitude of headlining Glastonbury and treated it marginally more than, say, Billie Eilish did.)

But Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Stormzy... they have sets that go down as great ones in no small part because they tackled it accordingly.
