I know U2 bisect their main set in half with a pre-recorded track (or at least did on the Innocence & Experience shows) but blimey this is something else.

If it's no more than ten minutes, fair enough, but otherwise could be a serious momentum killer.

I know I like to harp on about optimum set lengths, but honestly, I'd rather just see him do seventy minutes and call it rather than split up a ninety-five minute show into two halves.

I didn’t realize Stevie didn’t break 20 songs in 2010 - and Elton barely gave us that last year if you knock off the guest song from that American guy. Macca delivering 38 plus guests really spoiled us

Macca absolutely did, but at the same time, it is about metrics and performer capabilities. If Stevie could only manage fifteen songs this year, then that's what I'll take - don't want to see anyone over-extend.

Guns N' Roses meanwhile an excellent counter to considering your set length. They could have knocked forty-five minutes off their show and make it even stronger.

I did a 105-minute cut a few months back, and it read superbly. Elton absolutely nailed it at two hours though - that's a top-drawer masterclass in pacing.

I can't imagine Stray Kids and Stevie Wonder would eat into each other, demographic wise.

I would rather just them tell me , there will be nothing until a few weeks before the festival.
