Can you use a credit or debit card of someone other than the lead buyer when purchasing ?

Just want to check this is OK and not make any errors!  

One of our group has an old registration postcode that doens't match his current UK billing address - is this OK too?   The other can use their husbands credit card.   Is the billing address connected to the registration postcode?
