Is it still groups of six in the resale?

Hi JB I see you are taking control of this - well done!  I don't have what's app but my partner does I'll ping you his number.

I've got WhatsApp just for this purpose.   I usually boycott them because Mark Zuckerberg is evil but ethics go out the window when it comes to Glastonbury tickets.

Checking in to resale club here and keen to join up with others too - this is my first post since 2018 and wish it was in more positive circumstances, but we go again in April. I will need the 5 months to recover from the stress of that failing payment page (rubbish to see how many others had exactly the same issue)

On a lighter note of the five fests I've done so far three of them involved getting tickets in the resale, so it really can be done. Keep the faith!

@J.B. I'll send you a DM, thanks for co-ordinating this

Can someone explain how the resale collective works? I have 18 people (sounds like a lot!) that will be trying in the resale. But with a lot of people in the background to help.

I'm new to this so someone will correct me if I'm wrong.   I think we get sorted into groups of four (the max no for the resale) and we will try for our own group of four.   We'll be in whatsapp contact so if and when you have luck for your group, you will be asked to start trying for another group.   You'll be expected to pay for everyone (full price I think not just the deposit) and settle up later.

If you have 18 people plus friends and family trying then it might get a bit unwieldy.   I'm concerned that two of your mates will have to get put in a group with two random efesters.   Will all your friends and family be prepared to pay for the two extras?   You need to be sure that everyone knows what they're doing and someone isn't going to put through just your two, then messing things up for the other two people in that group.   But someone with more experience of these things can comment on this if I've got things wrong.

ok so now people have 3 /4 options ..... work , bus resale and main sale and competitions . you've a decent chance now to get those numbers down but even if you dont they are very manageable .... all those people that now have tickets thanks to the group you created must see it through and help in remaining sales

Did you have a limit last time on how many regs can be against an efesters name?

Absolutely gutted. Also victims of getting to payment page and the buy button freezing, then kicking us out. Can't believe it, to be so close...

It's also a bummer for us as we're a group of 6 and now we have to split that somehow into a 4 and a 2 or two 3s.

How does the Resale Groups with eFesters work, if say, I joined in with my dad and the other four stay in one group on their own?

Think as things are gathering attention quite a lot we might need to set some rules!

Let’s set a limit for max 100 people on the spreadsheet, for now anyway. Does that sound like a plan? @J.B.

Might also be an idea to take the same rule as last year and say max 3 guests per efestivals member.

That all sounds fair to me and same rules as last time.

If there's a real clamour for more then there's nothing to stop another group being set up by some other enterprising members, but we need to keep things manageable 🙂

Ah yes, sorry. The plan is to do our group thing. I was just curious if there was a way that it combines with this to benefit both ways, you know? But my feeling is that might not really work, it could be a bit messy. I guess this is more for smaller groups of people to come together?
But if there’s any way we can help others if our lot get through then we will happily do that. I need a rest from thinking about it for a while to be honest!

I’d stick with current tbh it’s a bit like a team build to see it through to completion … you’ll make a lot of mates in the group as people help each other out till the end … we’ve 1 group left and they have everyone helping them now … then people help wherever
