brettredmayne
Seems it’s not hard to find out who leaks the blur stuff , this was from September and Apple Music had to edit it out https://twitter.com/w1lko/status/1592171332116312066?s=46&t=G8mBo-Oh1QrRFq900kfvBQ
Hugh Jass II
I was remembering Leeds 03 the other day when Blur played without Coxon and did 12 songs off Think Tank. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/blur/2003/bramham-park-leeds-england-5bd7e75c.html

Only seen them twice before (Glasto 09 and Wolverhampton 2012). Looking forward to seeing them in a big communal setting again

Still a high balance in its favour though.
fullfathom5
They used to play We’ve Got A File On You at least twice in a row. I saw them do it 3 times in a row (it’s only about a minute long). Would love them to bring it back. On another note, looks like Sunday standing tickets have sold out now, so just some seats left.

Hugh Jass II
Dublin to Glastonbury back to back is hardly impossible, but as I said about Harry Styles, if you're intending to headline Glastonbury then you don't tend to book a gig in another country on the Saturday night. So far Blur are the only headliner level act touring around Glastonbury that we know of I had any interest in. Think I won't bother with any pyramid headliners if the names being thrown around now are booked. Oh well.

Which is almost certainly why they went heavy on the songs he wasn't involved in.

Bad weather could cancel the ferry. Even if they get the 9am ferry they wont be on site until 5 or 6pm with the bands gear. About 9 hours too late to set up the stage/sound for them. Theyre not playing.
reflekting
I didn't get tickets for Glastonbury, so I'm going to go to Malahide for Blur, Arctics and Sam Fender that week. Definitely helps ease the pain of not going next year.

Also minimal setup required if they're using the festival's gear. I don't think it's happening either, but it is not an impossibility. 09matthewsw
Surely no reason they couldn’t still do Glastonbury? Dublin to Bristol is a 40 minute flight…? Probably less travel time than if they were playing a gig up north somewhere. I think this makes it more likely than it was before, if anything

All the guitars, mics, pedals, drums etc need to be packed into work boxes and into the trucks(s) and trailers and onto the ferry and then driven 5 hours down to the farm. Not a runner when the ferry doesnt leave until 9am the day of the gig. 3 hour ferry, 5 hour drive. Thats if everything goes well. This is a stadium sized tour. Bus for the band, a couple of buses for the crew, trucks, trailers etc. They're not just rocking up to the high street with an acoustic guitar doing Quo covers outside Oxfam. Lot of faff for the sake of getting an okay band with a couple of decent songs onto the farm.

Rack of guitars, rack of bass, guitar amps, bass amps, shitload of pedals, drums, maybe 40 crew, sound to be tested, effects all pre configured and tested... This is just Grahams gear. https://www.groundguitar.com/graham-coxon-blur-guitars-gear/
