Since other Portuguese festivals are announcing their lineup, I guess we must get news on this one soon.

Any guesses? We know Black Country, New Road are out again this year, since according to Blitz, they'll be at Super Bock Super Rock 2023.

If The Walkmen make an european tour, they will be there.   However with Kalorama, many bands that could be in Paredes de Coura, are being brought to Kalorama instead .  So it will be difficult to make assumptions to who is coming.   Especially without Pukkelpop and Green Man Fest (those are the usual festivals that have bands thar are also in Coura) making any announcments yet

I am eagerly awaiting this announcement as it usually comes prior to GM and gives a good indication of who to expert there.

I’m hoping this is where Sigur Ros, Simz, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pavement and/or The Walkmen turn up, plus some other nice smaller bands.

Some late summer festivals already started giving announcements and some indications.
CanelaParty already announced a big part of the 2023 lineup and will surely share a bunch of names with PdC. Sziget, Off, WOW-Oya-Flow, Cala Mijas/Kalorama (we can rule most of their names out), Grape and also R&L/Electric Picnic undercard have also some good names for PdC.
But I bet there will be a couple of nice surprises soon.

I believe that the big name of the PdC will be Alt-J , but I would love to see her M83

Mac DeMarco maybe? Since he was supposed to be there in 2020, he has a new album coming out and maybe will tour Europe in summer 2023.

The National also will release new music in 2023 but having been there in 2019, they'll probably do their own thing.

I read in a Portuguese newspaper, the director of Paredes de Coura saying that he will announce names now in early January and that in February we will have the full lineup.

Unfortunately is like DanielFerreira said.  Sometimes he hints, but other times is just random music, so we never know if it is a hint or not
