MrZigster
Had the pleasure of meeting Faithless a couple of times. Always a pleasure. They seemed to have so much time for people. Got to mention that I loved the Glastonbury set I'd been at and got a really cool slippy handshake from Maxi. RIP
parsonjack
Gutted. Friday 2002 and 'We Come One'.....first festival for us and still one of our greatest moments. Rest well Maxi 😢 1

The Pyramid set in 2010 was an absolute belter The feeling of the thud of dancing feet on the Pyramid hill during we come one was like an army on the march, one of the most memorable sets I've seen at that stage. Sadly missed. 3

Supernintendo Chalmers
Watch that "We Come One" clip on the Pyramid from 02 or 10 and immediately want to be transported back to that field. Up there with the most iconic performances by any act on that stage. Go easy, Maxi. What a sad week for music. Go see your heroes while you can. WS_Jack_III
Sad, so glad I managed to catch them live at the farm once, it was an epic set.
Wherethewildthingsare
So sorry I never got to see them live, soundtrack to my phone ringtone from the days when we actually let our phones ring

Spookily for some reason when I got in drunk last night I put on YouTube and watched some of the Faithless performance from Glastonbury 1998. RIP Maxi

Pyramid 2010, the lads in the paddling pool transiting towards the front of the stage as insomnia blasted out, brilliant times. RIP fella 🙏 Still the funniest thing I’ve seen at the farm. Was fantastic. Shame it’s not on you tube anymore. Still one of my best nights at the farm ever with Stevie afterwards. Neil
I remember photoing faithless from the pit at v fest and then I went into the crowd, maxi seemed to spot me and recognise me as the photographer, and then performed the rest of the song at me. Mouseboy11
It’s a real shame the festival never got them back in recent years, fantastic band and Maxi was so iconic. RIP.
Sawdusty surfer
So sad. Faithless are one of our many 'family' bands, bands which my children were brought up on and which we have seen and danced to many times. Spent Christmas with daughter #1 today (#2 is in Australia) and yes, of course we played some Faithless. Specials are another that fall into that category. 😕 Saw Faithless for the first time at Glastonbury '98, a really muddy one. We mounted an old tin Bath on an old pram frame to use as a mobile bedroom for the kids. Worked a treat!

UEF
A lot of people posting his “last words recorded 24 hours before his death” (in which he admittedly doesn’t look well)… actually from his Instagram from September 2021. Awkward.
nikkic
One of those acts who were synonymous with my youth. Really gutted about this, he always seemed like one of the good ones. Rest easy fella.
Pinhead
Both times I saw him at G represented two seminal, standout performances that I have remembered ever since. Will remember him through them.
